8 large green King prawns

45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil
-
1 clove garlic, crushed
-
30 ml (2 tbsp) light soy sauce
-
30 ml (2 tbsp) mirin
-
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
-
1 lemon (use half for juice and the other half to serve with the prawns)
-
½ tsp salt
Directions
Butterfly and clean the prawns. Place them on a round oven tray.
In a bowl, combine olive oil, crushed garlic, light soy sauce, and mirin.
Divide the marinade in half and brush one portion evenly over the tops of the prawns.
Add the chopped parsley, lemon juice and salt to the remainder of the marinade and set aside.
Place the raw prawns on a round baking dish, then place into the KILN. Set on high temperature and cook for 90 seconds. Ensure rotating stone is switched on, if using the KILN S Series ensure regular turning. They should be slightly charred, opaque and just cooked through.
